We need young mentor!
Do you like to play guitar? Produce music? do arts or any sports? We like our mentors to share their interests with a young person in needs. You will get adequate training, supervision and the opportunity to gain experience within a multi-disciplinary team. “I enjoy spending time working with the young people, I like teaching them guitar as I think the ability to play a musical instrument is...

Easter fire
It was an interesting process the digging the sand (as you can see Mathew below). Men chopped wood, as they do, then Craig lightened up the oven for it’s first fire… and first BBQ =) We had Osman, a turkish baba as first chef. Thanks for Ben from E5 Bakery who popped in to bring some dough and toppings, we all made mini-yummy-pizza. Can’t wait for the public opening, May 2nd! ...

Day 7
Waow Craig put on his war paint before the battle! Containing young people’s energy in an open space, not always easy! Again we got mucky, had a good laugh and the lil’ones seriously took over the layers! It is all polished and now will rest a day before the first fire! Our mixing spot looked more like a beach today =)

Gestation
With Louise (Sasawork) we started to think metaphorically about the oven… The growth chart is going well!!! We have finished a third layer of clay, sand, water and this time mixed it with sawdust for the isolation and to keep it firm. Again our feet did the job =) Other craft activities were co-existing; plane made of bottles and clay figurines among other… busy bizy day!

Craig (Sasawork) woke up early to collect the bags of clay from a field somewhere south London. we have seriously found good help with da kids and adults passing by! Even the guys building the super-modern development in Dalston Lane come everyday to check our progress =)
